NRO-Wrong decision of a strategic man!
I don’t believe NRO as National reconciliation ordinance; I consider ‘NRO’ the abbreviation of ‘Never Root out the Owls’. Mr. Pervaiz Musharraf I do agree that you served the country with bold and strategic decisions and your tenure was the most difficult duration of Pakistan’s life due to 9/11 and other international pressures and you made almost good decisions in foreign policy. Sir, It does not mean that you are bigger then Pakistan for me! If I like you, believe me it does not mean i’ll support your wrong steps.
How a head of state can end the biggest corruption cases on the top corrupted people of the state? How can you forgive billions of Rupees corruption by a presidential ordinance? Lower middle class, middle class and poor people are living hand to mouth in Pakistan due to inflation and other economic issues and you give the explanation that ‘cases in courts are pending from more than a decade, so we should move to reconciliation process’ . Sir, your responsibility being the president was to ask courts to complete the cases under some deadline and not to bring NRO and remove top judiciary.

Changes are waiting to happen!
Pakistani soil is demanding major changes in Pakistani territory. Leave TV analysts, and famous writers, just ask a common man, what is going to happen in near future? He will surely tell you the pack up of current dictatorial democracy. Democracy is not being delivered in Pakistan. Billion dollars owner is a head of state, and one is waiting for his turn. Current political system of Pakistan is continuously giving disappointment to nation. I don’t understand how governing politicians say this system ‘a democracy’ where a president [head of state] who was elected by national assembly. Respected national assembly members were chosen by 18 feb 08 general elections and those elected members of national assembly elected President of Pakistan ‘Mr. Asif Ali Zardari’. According to an independent foreign survey Mr. Asif Ali zardari is unpopular among 80% of Pakistani people, so how our elected parliamentarians representing us? Sorry my friends! Its not democracy! Its civil dictatorship!
These upcoming changes are not in the control of any body. But people say that spiritual aspect of Pakistan is going to take a turn. Global pressures, international relations, unpopular and bad governance, indian involvement in terrorism inside Pakistan and suicide attacks are all issues which is going to collide with the wall of current system.
The politicians must think about Pakistan and government should make the worth of itself by delivering the real democracy otherwise ‘Changes are waiting to happen’.
Something for Pakistan!
I know many people write for Pakistan. But i don’t know how many get succeed in conveying the message. My blog writing purpose will be accomplished when a single pakistani will start thinking about betterment of Pakistan. Im not saying go and start convincing some gov. employees to don’t do corruption. We can change the Pakistan only by giving a tiny spark in our youth. I don’t say leave your personal life, and go door to door and start guiding people that how Pakistan requires us! It’s not practical because people would say let us find 2 kg sugar first, then some wheat after that we will think about that!
Let government handle big issues like suicide attacks, Indian involvement in terrorism inside Pakistan. People should focus on what they have in their hands. You can’t wait for someone to come on your door and request that please do something for Pakistan and give 15 minutes to Pakistan from your precious time. Just you have to make a mind that you would not involve in any anti humanity and anti state activity. That is the point which Islam teaches us. At this point where Pakistan is standing we need mutual unity and acceptance. This is the practical and applicable approach.
I understand we are busiest nation in the world … J But atleast we can pass on something positive for Pakistan. From understanding the diplomatic strategies to cleaning our own street, from making a promise with yourself to giving small social tips positively to the people!
Time is running fast and we have to do SOMETHING FOR PAKISTAN!
World Economies replacing dollar reserves!
Recently a news was whispered on a private Pakistani tv channel that china and few more big economies are predicting the downfall of US Dollar and want to exchange their dollar reserves by gold reserves. Today’s most acceptable and power reserve is US dollar. Current global economic crises realized to world economic think tanks to replace dollar with some different foreign exchange reserves. Even India in the recent past purchased gold reserves.
The question is what Pakistan should do now? Either to keep on running for dollars or to think rationally. I don’t know what gov. of Pakistan actually doing for this. But this PP government has lost its credibility for sure. Even more then 80% Pakistanis dont want president to continue presidency. Its real time difficult situation going on in Pakistan. In this global socio-economic perspective, where India is a direct threat to Pakistan and what India is doing in balochistan [Pak gov. has indian involvement proofs according to Rehman Malik ] and an Indian asset Tahreek-e-taliban Pakistan using Indian made latest arms against Pakistan army and killing thousands of innocent people in suicide attacks. Normally my mind does not work when I analyze all these current affairs and challenges being faced by Pakistan.
Conclusion is we have to think now, if not then also think!
Dear Media, How responsible you are!
Breaking news on our news channels is not a new story to condemn. During current Pak army operation ‘Raah e Nijaat’ our news channels are showing 3D presentations of Pak army’s strategic attacking plans on militants. I just want to ask our news channels are you helping Pak army or militants. Army prohibited live coverage of different operations including GHQ operation. Live coverage can help terrorists to locate the army positions.
Last night an earthquake was observed in various areas of Pakistan. Earthquake did not shock me much, but live interviews of horrified people actually surprised me and a reporter of private channel was questioning them ‘How are you feeling after earthquake? What did you do during earthquake? I mean what they afraid people supposed to do? I think media was looking for some interesting answers like:
Q: How are you feeling after earthquake?
A: Oh yeah, it was nice. I was feeling asleep and earthquake just jolted me to keep awake. No im awake and enjoying!
Q: What did you do during earthquake?
A: We enjoyed a lot. We took snaps to remember such horrible memories.
Some reasonable people, who think rationally, must laugh on such an awkward acts which our media normally repeats everyday!
Indian Army chief and defence minister are looking for best argues!
I just saw press released video message of indian army chief and defence minister on TV. According to them ‘Operation in Waziristan is suspicious’ …
May be you are both right, because you never expected that how much we hate foreign funded disposable terrorism! And Sir [Indian Army chief] with due respect you are saying “We are ready to defeat talibans”
I did not understand this logic and statement! I mean you are saying to afghani talibans or to those talibans who are using indian made arms against Pakistan!
Personally I think they are both [indian army chief and defence minister] nervous and surprised by the Pak Army’s current operation Rah e Nijaat in waziristan and previous successful operation Rah e raast in Swat!
What an Indian pilot demanded in air?
On 4th October a flight of Air India was flying on Pakistan. Flight was from UAE to Delhi and having 106 passengers. According to different internet news sites, Air hostess was sexually harassed by one of the pilot on board. The point which shocked me was that Indian gov. and media never blamed Pakistan for this incident, as flight was on the Pakistani air space. Law enforcement of india is investigating the whole incident. This story added one more kick in indian human rights violation, reputation of India and Air India company. Whatever the realities were! Was air hostess seeking for attention or pilot wanted to reveal something and air hostess counter attacked in the form of blame! Such people should think that they can’t play with lives of innocent people travelling thousands of miles up in the air with them!
Match fixing blames on Pak cricket team are unacceptable!
I heard the news of match fixing blame in semi final against New Zealand from Qay e ma kameti (sports section). This is very embarrassing news. I was just paused to that TV channel while listening this news. Some old players opposed this blame. Former captain and wicket keeper Rashid Lafit’ said Gov. should eliminate corruption from its departments and ministries instead of blaming players.
Personally im happy with Pakistani cricket team. The best thing was in ICC, I saw a change in Pakistani team, which was lacking previously, when Pakistan was going to be lost the match, team’s morale lost before they lost! In this ICC, Pakistani team fought till last ball in all matches especially against Australia!
I believe that Australia is no more giant for Pakistani team now! This change came after the victory of Pakistan against Australia in T20 worldcup.
