Pakistan cricket team changed the history! Congrats …

Last night Pakistan was playing ODI of ICC championship against india. Mostly offices and markets had been closed due to the match. It was really a great fun. Im happy, how the openers Imran nazir and Kamran akmal started the innings. A very strategic partnership has been written in the history of ODI from M. Yousuf and Shoaib malik from Pakistan (Second highest runs partnership from Pakistan against india - 206 runs). Highest ODI partnership of 230 runs played by Ijaz ahmad and Saeed Anwar in 1998 against india. Now india needs to beat both Australia and west Indies to survive in ICC Championship and Pakistan is almost secured to play semi final.
Best of Luck to Pakistani team!

Is your personal telecom medium still private?
Recently media announced that email, mobile and landline phones, and sms are going to be monitored in Pakistan. That was really shocking for everyone. Even opposition members of parliament criticized that every Pakistani has privacy and it should be respected. Politicians told that every party has some classified information and internal secrets which sometimes discussed on phone. How they can support this law?
On the other side of the scene, government officials were defending that it will not target normal people and politicians but the target is suspected individuals and non state actors. This news added one more chapter in the criticism of PPP government. After that PTA spokesperson clarified that the major target of this monitoring is to stop grey calls. Illegal telecom traffic (grey traffic) coming into Pakistan from outside the country through illegal means. Grey calls come from international locations but with local numbers.

India needs more nuclear satisfaction!
BBC reported about Indian nuclear test that K Santhanam (Head of Indian nuclear test program 1998) recently revealed that Indian nuclear test was not up to the mark. The fear that Pakistan’s nuclear test was fully successful raising the voices and suggestions for Indian gov. and nuclear team to test its nuclear power again. It is difficult to accept and shameful for Indians as well. K Santhanam said “One of the five tests that were carried out, in which a thermonuclear device or hydrogen bomb was detonated, did not perform as well as expected.” He also confirmed that at that time all responsible officials of nuclear test were not happy!

Democracy at Stake!
These days Pakistani electronic media started shouting about failure of democratic governing system. While reporting power crises to sugar and wheat shortages media has started predicting and warning government bodies to aware about midterm elections and an end of current government by marshal law. Various channels in different political debates and political talk shows revealed that people are not happy and they will surely accept the military ruler if conditions do not change! As media made the views of people to choose PPP, it can also make conclusion of people to reject it! In modern and developed countries media informs people but cannot make people’s decision. In Pakistan media chooses and makes decision and then informs people. It is the right of people to choose or reject political powers and media should be more conscious in a country where more than half people are illiterate.
